|
Ebrahim Alibhai
Foundation has donated cooking oil,
rice, flour, machinery, and personal
safety equipment.
|
|
|
|
Chal Foundation (CF), in
collaboration with its partner
organizations, provided a relief of Rs.
10,000 each to 650 Persons with
Disabilities (PWDs). The objective of
the financial assistance was to support
their livelihoods during the pandemic.
CF has been able to restore 70% of its
clinical activities in line with SOPs
formulated under WHO/ISPO guidelines and
Govt Directives. |

Aid to Leprosy Patients
continued its project activities and
trained its staff to practice infection
control measures. |
|
|
|
SPARC distributed food
items among the people living in the
slums of Islamabad. Around 100 health
and hygiene kits were distributed among
the Meherabadi community. Islamic Help
collaborated with SPARC to distribute
food items among deprived communities in
Karachi. |

|
Aahung created animated videos and 6
infographics, and also organized expert
sessions and radio shows aimed at
creating awareness and maintaining
psychosocial well-being, menstrual
hygiene management (MHM) during COVID 19
crisis. Sessions and shows helped Aahung
reach out to 588,861 persons.

|
Maternity and Child
Welfare Association of Pakistan
organized awareness sessions about the
spread of COVID 19. MALC provided ration
packs to 500 deserving families. Face
masks, hand sanitizers, and medical
safety kits were also distributed
amongst the general public and hospital
staff. |

Progressive Education Network
|
PEN has distributed food
rations among 11,100 low-income
families. Besides, it has provided
medical supplies to 117 hospitals in 54
cities across Pakistan. |

NOWPDP’s has
supplied ration to 3174 persons with
disabilities and shifted its vocational
training to virtual platforms. It
facilitated PWDs with employment
opportunities. |

Association
|
Shewa Educated Social
Workers Association conducted awareness
campaigns that included public
announcements in streets, distribution
of IEC Materials among, displaying of
flexes at public places), distribution
of disinfectant soaps among. Many
families were assisted in financial
terms as well. |

|
Rahnuma Public School
provided its students with the laptops,
preloaded with 100 plus reading books,
lesson videos, games that helped
children learn at home. The school also
distributed milk and fresh fruits
amongst the students. |
|
|
|
Bunyad provided
emergency relief to the families
impacted by the lockdown. It provided
free ration to low-income families in
the districts of Rahim Yar Khan, Multan,
Rajapur, Sialkot, Khushab, Sargodha,
Lahore, Hafizabad, and Muzaffargarh. It
distributed ration among 4200 families
and equipped them with the tools to
manage situations arising from the
corona crisis. |

Saifee Hospital has
taken several measures to cater to COVID
19 patients. It allocated a 6 bedded
step-down unit, 3 bedded NICU, a
dedicated operation theatre (for
emergency cases), and a 3 bedded
critical unit for critically ill
patients. |

CERP has been working
with multiple partners and stakeholders
to equip stakeholders with the policy
tools that will help them to cope with
the situation arising from the
pandemic. |

Ameer Begum Welfare
Trust has distributed a total of 1000
Ration Packages in Lahore and Okara.
This free ration distribution was funded
by the Turkish Cooperation and
Coordination Agency. |

Make-A-Wish Foundation
provided free ration to over 4000
families and also fulfilled the wishes
of 100 children associated with the
foundation. |

Bright Star Development Society

Bright Star Development
Society Baluchistan organized
awareness-raising activities which
included the display of banners at
public places, distribution of IEC
material, FM radio programs, the
publication of articles in local and
national newspapers. |

Pakistan Kidney Institute
|
Pakistan Kidney
Institute continued with its services of
treatment of poor patients. It has done
a significant number of surgeries in
these difficult times especially for
cancer patients who cannot wait. The
transplant program has been kept on hold
to ensure patients’ safety. |

SCSPEB was involved in
the provision of free ration to several
families for three months. Society’s
team under its education program,
developed lesson plans and handed them
over to the teachers to ensure students
continue their educational activities.
Measures were taken to ensure that
teachers receive the stipends without
any delay. The organization also
distributed 1000 protection kits to
doctors for their safety |

Fatima Memorial Hospital
Lahore was amongst the first
teaching hospitals to dedicate a
COVID-19 Isolation Ward and Critical
Care Unit during the COVID-19
pandemic. Hospital has been able to
take care of over 100 COVID-19
patients. |

Hashoo Foundation |
Hashoo Foundation(HF)
beside providing the protective
equipment’s such as masks,
sanitizers and soaps, has also been
continuously striving to reach out
to the communities that are
financially stressed and helping
them in facing the COVID 19
emergency. HF has been running a
comprehensive COVID 19 response
programme aimed at helping
communities across Pakistan, working
both directly and indirectly with
the help of their implementing
partners. |

DE LAAS GUL (DLG) |
DE LAAS GUL (DLG) was
involved in conducting awareness sessions,
distribution of free ration, masks, hand
sanitizers, clothes, and cash grants. Their
beneficiaries belonged to Swabi, Nowshera,
and Peshawar districts in KPK. |
