Case for Credibility; A Study by PCP Reflects Upon the Evolution of NPO Sector

PCP’s Certification Program’s tally has crossed mark of 2000 evaluations of CSOs in Pakistan. PCP is working on a study that would assess the role of Certification Program in improving the capacity of the NPO sector and in providing supporting interventions related to different SDGs. The analysis is supplemented by a review of some relevant models of CSO certification from other countries. The study will present an analytical overview of the portfolio of certified CSOs making use of the rich database of all certified CSOs maintained by the PCP Certification Unit, which includes information on different dimensions of the CSOs, including their governing legislation, employment size, sectors of work, size of operations as well as geographical dispersion.

Raising Funds from Pakistani Diaspora in the United Kingdom; PCP Finds the Key

PCP recently published a report on philanthropy of Pakistani Diaspora in the UK which not only estimated the quantum of annual philanthropic contributions by Pakistanis but also highlighted many interesting trends and patterns as well. To further the findings of the Study, an in-depth analysis on how the different socio-economic characteristics such as length of stay in the UK, income, gender and education, influence the giving patterns of diaspora community is required. PCP’s team is working on a paper to find answer to some of the key questions that would help stakeholders understand the giving behaviour of the diaspora community. The first draft of the paper is being reviewed by the experts and would be shared soon with the audiences. STAY TUNED!
