Launch and Dissemination of Doing
Good Index 2024
|
The Doing Good Index (DGI) 2024 report,
developed with PCP as a proud partner of
the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and
Society (CAPS), has been successfully
launched and disseminated. Covering 17
Asian countries, the report offers a
comprehensive assessment of the giving
environment and the infrastructure
supporting Social Development
Organizations (SDOs) in doing good. It
highlights the enablers and challenges
in leveraging philanthropic giving for
social investment across the region.
 |

The launch events for the Doing Good
Index 2024 were held on October 8,
2024, at S3H-NUST, Islamabad, and
October 9, 2024, at LUMS. Both
events brought together a diverse
group of stakeholders, including
representatives from SDOs, academia,
policymakers, and corporate leaders,
to discuss the enabling environment
for philanthropic giving and the
challenges facing Pakistan's social
sector. Mr. Kithmina Hewage, Senior
Advisor at CAPS, graced the events
with his presence and provided
valuable insights into the
Pakistan-specific findings of the
report. His analysis sparked
engaging discussions on how to
overcome roadblocks and build a more
conducive environment for
philanthropy and social development
in the country.
The successful dissemination of the
Doing Good Index 2024 underscores
PCP's commitment to fostering a
better understanding of the
philanthropic landscape and
advancing social sector development
in Pakistan. |
