We've Hit the Double Century!
PCP held its 200th NPO Certification Panel Meeting - That's 200 rounds of
meticulous reviews, tough calls, and making sure nonprofits meet the mark! In
this quarter alone, PCP has granted certification approval to 103 organizations.
Beyond tax benefits, PCP certification helps to bridge the information and
credibility gap between grant-makers and grant-recipients, builds NPOs' capacity
to meet international standards of Governance, Transparency & Accountability and
last but not the least, builds a credible pool of non-profits that are reliable
and effective development partners.

STRENGTHENING NONPROFITS: 2 DAYS OF INSIGHTS ON REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Over the course of a two-day training
program focused on Federal and Provincial Regulatory Compliance for Nonprofits,
participants engaged in interactive discussions.
The training is designed to tackle challenges that NPOs encounter in regulatory
frameworks.

TAX & TRANSPARENCY: PCP ENGAGES IRS OFFICERS AT MCMC SESSION |

PCP participated in the 42nd
Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) training at the IRS Academy, Lahore.
Our team delivered an insightful session on 'Non-Profit Organizations and Their
Taxation Issues' to IRS officers, contributing to discussions on tax policy,
compliance, and the nonprofit sector.

UNITED FOR CHANGE: ADVANCING GENDER EQUALITY ACROSS BORDERS |
|
|
|
PCP, as an implementing partner for
Pakistan, participated in the Regional Advancing Gender Equality through Civil
Society (AGECS) Workshop held in Lisbon, Portugal.
Led by AKF in partnership with Global Affairs Canada and stakeholders from
Pakistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and India, the AGECS Initiative
supports 12 impactful projects driving transformative change for women's
empowerment and gender equality in their communities. |

STRENGTHENING VOICES, SHAPING FUTURES: AGECS WORKSHOP IN ISLAMABAD |

As part of the AGECS project, a
three-day workshop titled "Sustainability through Strategic Thinking and
Financial Planning" was held in Islamabad for CSOs based in Hunza and Chilas.
This initiative focused on addressing
capacity gaps, strengthening organizational growth, and advancing gender
equality across the GBC region. |

VOICES FROM ACROSS PAKISTAN: FGDs WRAP UP IN LAHORE & KARACHI! |
|
|
After insightful discussions with
NPOs in Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, we concluded our final Focus Group
Discussions (FGDs) in Lahore and Karachi under PCP's project, Enhancing the
Philanthropy Ecosystem in Pakistan-funded by WINGS and co-funded by the European
Union.
These consultations have been invaluable in shaping our upcoming policy paper on
the Legal & Regulatory Framework Governing Nonprofits in Pakistan. As we move
into the analysis and drafting phase, we look forward to presenting our findings
at a validation workshop in April.

ASIA UNITED FOR GOOD: PCP JOINS DGI 2026 LAUNCH |
|

PCP participated in the Doing Good
Index (DGI) 2026 Partner Workshop in Bangkok, hosted by the Centre for Asian
Philanthropy and Society (CAPS)!
The workshop marked the official launch of DGI 2026 and featured
thought-provoking discussions on Leadership Development, advancing the SDGs, and
addressing the trust deficit within the sector. |

DRIVING CHANGE TOGETHER: WORKSHOP ON GENDER-INCLUSIVE PROGRAMMING IN GB |

PCP's workshop on Addressing CSO
Challenges for Enabling Women's Empowerment was a success, thanks to the active
participation of government and civil society representatives.
Participants identified key
challenges faced by CSOs and offered insightful recommendations and feedback on
the draft policy brief developed under the AGECS project. |

CLOSING WITH PURPOSE: A POWERFUL FINISH TO A GENDER-INCLUSIVE INITIATIVE IN GB |
|
|

On March 25, 2025, we marked the
closing ceremony of the AGECS Project, implemented in collaboration with AKF.
This initiative has empowered local organizations with the tools and knowledge
to integrate gender-inclusive approaches into their programs, fostering a more
equitable and inclusive society in Gilgit-Baltistan.
A heartfelt thank you to our partners, participants, and stakeholders for their
dedication and commitment to advancing gender equality. |
