Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance Shaukat Tarin says the government is working hard to eradicate economic inequality and disparity in the country.
Addressing the ‘Corporate Philanthropy Award’ ceremony in Islamabad, he said sustainable and inclusive economic growth is the first priority of the government, which will bring economic equality and stability in all sections of the society.
The Advisor on Finance said the government would spend one trillion rupees on economic and social sector development in the country over the next four years.
He said an amount of 260 billion rupees will be spent through ‘Ehsaas program’ to provide relief to the deprived people in the society.
